It's good but does not deserve such high ratings based upon other similar but better restaurants. In my opinion the food is overly creative, is not as tasty as the name would suggest and repeats ingredients/styles too much. The overall concept is fun and creates a lot of talking points, but the food quality/value isn't there. The table bread is good, and was complimented by nice, but microscopically small, pieces of pineapple butter. We ordered starters to share: tempura scallops, mini fried eggs with cooked cured meat and potato, bruschetta with jerk chicken and manchego cheese. The scallops tempura batter was overly salty and overpowered other more subtle flavours. The eggs were overcooked and the cooked cured meat had no flavour...it should have been bacon. The jerk chicken was not "jerk" at all and had no spice. Everything sounded great on the menu but didn't live up to the expectation. Next we ordered the lamb, beef filet and shrimps. The lamb was nicely cooked and had good flavour. However it was accompanied by the same potato as the mini egg starter and did not have the sweet flavouring promised by the menu. The beef was very nice and well cooked. Unfortunately it came with the same tempura as the scallops, and surrounded mashed potato. Also, the beef came with the same cooked cured meat. The shrimps were big and nicely cooked but lacked flavour. Other than the actual meats, the best part of this course were the frozen 'shots' that accompanied the food. These tasted great (especially the Bloody Mary one with the beef) and set in dry ice so when water was poured on them it was like a science experiment on the table. This was good fun and promoted much picture taking. The location of the restaurant is not great. You are just off the hotel lobby at the back, so it didn't feel special at all. Overall I would say its worth going once for the "flair/show" and experience of how the food is presented but not worth returning for the food as its not that "Tasty"....

100% recomendado.
This is for all those who are used to great service in other parts of the world... We commute between Florida, London, England and Panama. To say the least we are spoiled. It was a pleasant surprise as to the level of restaurant etiquette they have achieved for Panama. Who cares about the prices if the level of service is superb and the food fabulous. I guess by Panamanian standards... Its expensive... but not for elegant dining!! For you champagne lovers, they even have one of our favs, Verve de Clicquot Rose!! Yay!! For Panama, thats incredible. Any way if you want to be surounded by fabulous food, service and style, you have to check out Tastes. Superb!!
