Cada día me sorprendo más de los deliciosos platos que tiene Maito. Realmente es un espectáculo comer allí. pueden disfrutar los sabores y calidad de sus ingredientes. vale la pena cada $ que se paga. Pedí una copa del vino Pruno de Ribera del Duero y esta muy bueno. Felicidades!

Maíto tiene bien ganada su fama de buen restaurante. La comida es muy buena. Sin embargo ayer, tuvimos una experiencia desagradable por una reserva que hicimos para 25 personas y lamentablemente no pudieron llegar las 25. El restaurante insistía en cobrarnos los 25 platos (estaban a full capacidad). El waiter fue rudo con algunas personas de nuestro grupo y debo decir que si bien, la comida estaba bien, no fue excelente, como otras veces en las que he ido. OJO con que 'se les suba a la cabeza la fama'. A los clientes, si son decentes, se les trata bien. NO HAY EXCUSA para malos tratos ni groserías. Entendemos que es un restaurante de alta demanda y bien rankeado pero eso no les da derecho a tratar mal a sus clientes.

Maito nunca decepciona. El risotto con calamares es un éxito. Buen ambiente relajado a pesar de que de alto nivel. La atención impecable como siempre.

Ambiente tranquilo, el lugar es muy classy, pedí un rissotto de langostinos que estaba delicioso! El lugar es algo costoso, pero hey, el que quiere azul celeste...

I have no idea why it has taken me so long to come back to this restaurant, however I'm happy to say that it is still most excellent! I can see that the problem with this review will be how can I not keep repeating the word "excellent" all of the time! I think my reason for visiting less frequently is that I would reserve this place for special occasions, to keep it 'special'. Portions are correctly sized for fine dining and very well presented. We were a big group and the wait staff looked after us very well indeed with no problems at all. The cocktails we had were amazing. The house special Mojito is good for those with a sweet tooth and one of the finest I've tried. I had the "Refresa" which was lemon and pineapple infused with a lot of alcohol...more bitter, with a touch of sweetness and enough to make it very refreshing...and keep me from driving home after 4 of them. Starters were "Dos Mares"...wonderful fish carpaccio with some fried fish in the middle and drizzles of sticky sweet loveliness around...and I had patacones/shrimp balls with tomato salsa and a herb green creamy salsa....wish I'd had the "Aji Chombo" spicy tuna...that looked amazing! Next we both had risotto. Black ink with squid...and I had "Colon Risotto" with calamari, shrimp and octopus in coconut milk. Mine was excellent (...sorry) but the black ink one was outstanding! We finished off with tiramisu (small criticism...slightly hard biscuit that had not fully absorbed the alcohol...). Overall, this restaurant deserves ALL of the high praise and accolades it receives...Mr.Owner you have created one of the very best...the chef is also a keeper...thanks.
