Spuntino Trattoria tries really hard. But there were too many faults that I couldn't forgive. First off is the location; it's on a one way street and recessed in a strip mall. If you miss the entrance to the strip mall, with only one entrance to the parking area, it's a a bitch to go around to come back. The menu looks great. Nice variety. Not too varied. Started off with the Burrata and a bowl of Minestrone pasta e fagiole. The burrata and the soup were excellent. The plates were cleared but no new clean flatware was brought to us, so when the main dishes came out we had to get forks and knives from an adjacent table. The water served is room temperature but the staff is very attentive to refilling the glasses. The main dishes ordered were spinach and ricotta filled ravioli is an Alfredo sauce and a chicken cutlet Parmigiana. The ravioli was very good, but the chicken had to be sent back because it was severely undercooked, practically raw. As if the cutlet was never thawed. My wife was finished with her ravioli before the replacement chicken parm came out. No apology for the main dish being so poorly cooked. The two glasses of wine we requested with main dishes also were never brought out. Dessert was a bland flan. The server was very nice and but this was a very lousy first impression.
