Asu Mare never fails. The food is always fresh, well prepared and absolutely delicious. We have been fans for 10 years and hope to continue enjoying for years to come.

The renovation of the restaurant is beautiful but we were disappointed in both the food and the service. It hasn't been reopened for long so maybe things will improve. The rice in black ink came less than warm. One of our party ordered medium rare steak and what came appeared to be shoe leather. The bread was wonderful but otherwise the six of us were not impressed.

We loved this restaurant when it was La Chivita and although the decor has been improved, the food and service have not. And the prices have risen considerably. We were disappointed and will not return.

The basic menu produces excellent food. I only wish the restaurant had a larger, more comfortable venue. Currently the crowded tables and loud noise makes conversation difficult. Love the food but want a better place to eat it!

The food here is quite wonderful but takes too long to arrive. By my count there were only ten people at this very small restaurant and we still sat and waited for our orders to arrive. I am not sure the chef, who takes great pride in his work, is yet prepared to take on a larger venue.

We have loved this restaurant since it opened years ago in a smaller venue and have NEVER been disapointed in the freshness and quality of the seafood. Last evening we were with friends who ordered meat, rice and chicken. All were delicious. So a lesson learned-you will always eat well at this wonderful place.

La comida faltó un poquito de sabor. Fuimos el año pasado y estuvimos muy impresionados con lo que comimos. Esa noche creo que el menú cambio y no estuvimos tan felices con todo que ordenemos. Pero el lugar es super atractivo y el servicio genial.

This is a happening place! The restaurant is beautiful-the web photos do not do it justice. A fun place to watch all sorts of people and a menu which is exciting and different. We ordered too much as portions are quite large and we wanted to try everything. We will definitely return to try the items we didn't get to sample.

This is our second visit to this restaurant in the last month and we feel that it is now on our list of favorite places to dine. The filete is amazing and the fish was wonderful. Service could not be better. And a large parking lot makes being there so easy. Couldn't find a thing to criticize!

I find it hard to believe this restaurant is highly rated, and the absence of a crowd at lunch might prove my point. The worst thing we ordered was the Ramen Tradicional. It was awful. The pork in the broth seem to be weeks old and the liquid was milky with starch. The edamame were midgets. The Rock Shrimp were not crispy. I won't return.
