Os Segredos Da Carne

If not for the great friends and my wife last night at the restaurant the meal at Os Segredos Da Carne would not have been at all enjoyable. The attraction is the meats. and I tried most of them. One particular example is the skirt steak, it is only offered with a coating of Parmesan cheese, never without cheese. The punta de palomilla was extremely tough and chewy. The concept is just not to my liking; there is no way to get the meat at the your preferred doneness. Meaning its a hit or miss game if you like meat Medium Rare. And most of the meat I tasted was over salted and very tough or very fatty. I would rather pay a third of the price only for the salad bar. That part of the meal I enjoyed.

I can't seem to enjoy this type of restaurant. Maybe its my need to have large pieces of meat on a plate in front of me instead of small very thin slices of meat. I enjoy the buffet counter much more. The selection is great. From salad greens to hot starches. The service is very good and but the very thin slivers of the meat do not allow tor any real taste of texture to be appreciated. This must be my peculiar leanings because the times of been there, the place is always busy and bustling.

This is a place to go to when you a very hungry. For one price you get the unlimited prepared foods/salad/cheese/sushi bar and all the meat you can eat. I was very happy with the "prepared food" bar. There was a great variety of items to choose from and everything looked and tasted fresh. The meats came out on the skewers and there was a large selection of those as well. All the meats that I tasted were cooked well. Next time I go I will have to be more assertive in requesting that the servers/slicers slice off meat that is more on the "rare" side. I do look forward to going back there.

Estaba algo lleno, el servicio estuvo bien, el salad bar estaba bueno y bien ordenado, los cortes bien me gustó la picaña, los chorizos y las costillas.

Uno de los mejores sitios para comer carne y lo mejor de todo es que puedes probar muchos tipos y la cantidad que quieras, tienen gran cantidad de acompañamientos, desde ensaladas hasta mariscos, no dejen de probar los cubos de mozzarella asados, son lo máximo!!! Así como el pan con ajo y la entraña con parmesano.
