Bbq Fellas Smoke & Steak House (Santa Elena)

El mejor lugar para ir a comer ricos ahumados y sentirte como en casa. Los cortes de carne son deliciosos, al igual que los nachos, quesadillas y boneless. Me encanta ir al lunch por su variedad de opciones, aunque debo admitir que mi favorito es el ribeye con patacones. Siempre tienen promociones por día y tienen dos ambientes (dentro y el patio). Full recomendado 💯

Fuimos por las hamburguesas. Llenísimo el lugar pero nos hicieron el espacio para siete de manera eficiente. Lástima que para este tiempo solo sirvan hamburguesas. Lo bueno es que estaban ricas.

What a disappointment! I know it's supposed to be a BBQ joint, not fine dining, but I was very dubious when I saw how varied the menu was. Most BBQ places, that are any good, only have a few items on the menu. BBQ Fellas has way too many choices of proteins. I went today with a colleague of mine to try it out. Surprisingly there was no smell of smoke... Then inside the dining room, which was extremely warm, we looked at the menu, which is only offered in QR form. We were both hungry so we ordered from the lunch special menu and the regular menu. I ordered the quarter chicken from the lunch menu and thinking it was a BBQ restaurant I ordered the ½ pound of brisket as a standard meat for a good bbq place. The chicken was not bad. It came with a side of patacones. The patacones were obviously fried much earlier or even days earlier. The texture was dry and very chewy. The brisket arrived and it looked promising. But there was no smoke flavor. No bark, and it was dry. That also gave me the impression that it was made days earlier, in an oven, not bbq, and then reheated. The buns that were served were rocks! Either days old and stale or frozen and then microwaved for minutes! If this is one of the best BBQ places in Panama, then the standards are so low. No way we are going back.

Excelente menú, las bandejas mixtas están deliciosas, los brisket, carne ahumada y chorizo, se los recomiendo, con patacones y yuca, el servicio es buenísimo y el ambiente muy agradable
