Stopped here for a mid-day lunch while running family errands. It was a great time for us to go as the restaurant was empty - we were seated immediately and had the full attention of the staff. Out waitress was super attentive and, most importantly, very pleasant. She was attentive to our 5yr old, ensuring that he was entertained and left with a memento from there.
On the food front, my wife ordered a chicken sandwich, which was served with a TON of fries (which are fresh cut btw - really love that!) - she felt that it was adequate, nothing special. I had the Korean Fried Chicken with French Fries - the menu said 3pc, but I received about half a chicken, which was a pleasant surprise. My dish was actually very tasty and clearly served fresh cooked. The served yellow sauce went well with the chicken - thumbs up for that. Our son had his usual Chicken fingers and fries - which he enjoyed very much.
It has been some time since we last visited Roadster - that visit received a negative commentary from me regarding the service, food quality and value. It appears that they've modified their menu, streamlining it a bit which should have a positive impact on overall service execution.
Though we had a "Family Chicken Experience" with our food selection, in fairness, I have to give them an improved rating this time around - near 5 star (had to take one off for the sandwich). Hopefully, they can maintain this level when there is more volume in the dining area.
Overall reco - a good place to visit for an American Diner like experience. Worth a visit.
