Niko's Café (El Dorado)

Canteen style restaurant. You don't have to wait much unless it's crowded. Cheap and regular food - the sandwiches are probably the best option but nothing special. However they offer simple basic food which my children enjoy (meat, rice, lentils, chicken...). It does feel like a real cafeteria and it's an okay option for a very simple meal for kids who aren't picky. I wouldn't go myself there, but it's an option for my kids. Don't expect good service as the ladies serving don't feel a smile or politeness makes the difference on their pay.

Los precios han subido mucho, la calidad de la comida mediocre y el servicio muy lento, no hay la variedad de antes.

Lo único rescatable aquí son los emparedados. El resto de la comida que ofrecen no tiene nada especial.

Otro lugar para salir de apuros, pero me sentí como engañada cuando fui a desayunar y solo por las salchichas guisadas me cobraron 3.00 dolares. Tienen buenos postres y me gusta mas ir a almorzar o cenar allí que el desayuno.

A good place to get "canteen style food" either very late night whilst experiencing "the munchies" or on the way home from work in need of a "scooby snack" to replace having to cook. I think the sandwiches are the best items, particularly the "gyro" in a combo with the (delicious) super crispy fries...and a jugo de maracuya. It's cheap, freshly made and fills a hole in your belly. Sorted.
