Makoto

I have never been to any restaurant more than Makoto. It seems they simply do not have off nights. The food is always amazing and service is impeccable. There are a few favorites which we always order but new and delicious things are also wonderful and become future favorites. There simply isn't a better place to spend an evening in Panama!

There is no better restaurant in Panama and it would even be hard to find one comparable in the rest of the world. This is our family’s go to place for every celebration, and we have even invented new ones so we can go for more than just birthdays and anniversaries. The atmosphere is elegant without being off putting and the food always to die for. But on top of those essential elements, the servers are polite, attentive without hovering and attractive. It simply cannot get better than this!

Makoto never fails. My family-from oldies to young children-love this restaurant. The food is always spectacular and the place, especially the roof terrace and garden, are beautiful. To top it off, you would find more attentive and well trained wait staff anywhere in Panama. We will be back, and back, and back......

Primera vez que venia a Makoto, luego de ver muy buenas referencias. El ambiente en la terraza es muy bueno. La atención recibida pareció de un principiante. Faltan detalles sencillos como poner un portavasos o por lo menos una servilleta para los vasos. El punto es que la mesa estuvo empapada todo el tiempo, lo que hizo disminuir la calidad. Pedimos un pollo, que luego de esperar mucho tiempo, indican que el plato demora 25 minutos para su cocción y para cuando llegó estaba frío. En honor a la verdad, por comida y atención no regresaría.

El ambiente se siente realmente diferente, en ciertas áreas más cercanas a la parte en donde está la barra; se siente un poco menos el aire acondicionado. La experiencia se siente en otro nivel. Un ambiente Perfecto, para pasar con amigo pero también una cena íntima con una amiga o tu pareja. Recomiendo al 1000% el carpacho de pulpo y los camarones apanados
