Makoto

Fuimos un grupo de amigas al bar que tiene Makoto (fuera del restaurante). Muy acogedor, buena atención , solo tienen entradas en el menú por tratarse de un bar, pero son mínimas.

La mayoría de los platos son muy ricos pero la proporción precio/cantidad está off. Demasiado caro. Buena calidad. No me gustó el aguacate (demasiado ácido en la salsa). Muy bueno el sushi, nigiri y la robata.

As usual an evening at Makoto was spectacular. We took two foodie friends from the US who were blown away by the food, the service and the table on the terrace which resulted in a perfect evening. They hoped Makoto would consider opening in Philadelphia where they live. This has been our favorite restaurant since it opened and it has never been a disappointment.

I have never been to any restaurant more than Makoto. It seems they simply do not have off nights. The food is always amazing and service is impeccable. There are a few favorites which we always order but new and delicious things are also wonderful and become future favorites. There simply isn't a better place to spend an evening in Panama!

There is no better restaurant in Panama and it would even be hard to find one comparable in the rest of the world. This is our family’s go to place for every celebration, and we have even invented new ones so we can go for more than just birthdays and anniversaries. The atmosphere is elegant without being off putting and the food always to die for. But on top of those essential elements, the servers are polite, attentive without hovering and attractive. It simply cannot get better than this!
