La Vespa (Area Bancaria)

I was attracted to this place because of the name but the food and service also won me over. The bar and the foyer area can use some improvement but the main dining area at the back was ok. They also had seats outside for al fresco dining. For starters, skip the ceasar salad but try the carpaccio with something like pizza bread. The bread is freshly baked with a hint of salt. For main course, i liked the mushroom risotto and the filete de vespa. Service is friendly and efficient. Wait staff are Italian and they speak Spanish and English. They know the food and can give good recommendation. They are attentive without being obtrusive. All in all a good place to try and come back to.

Voy a èsta pizzería porque siempre la atención es amable, algo lenta pero siempre amable. Aceptan y atienden a las mascotas con mucho cariño. Decidimos por la pizza ganadora como mejor pizza 2017!!! No nos decepcionó! Realmente deliciosa y diferente. Buscando nuevos sitios donde comer bien, Tomar vino y que acepten a mis mascotas encontré éste hermoso lugar. Para sorpresa mía me reencontré a unos bellos italianos que había conocido tiempo atrás. La comida estuvo realmente estupenda con una burrata que le hace los Mandados a todas las de Panamá que yo conozco. La atención SUBLIME con buena selección de vinos y cócteles. Mis mascotas fueron bien recibidas junto con otras que fueron llegando al pasar la noche. No dejen de conocer éste hermoso lugar!!!

My wife and I arrived after 10pm recently and we thought we'd give it a chance. Our previous visit had been over a year ago and we heard therw was a new owner and much better food. I asked how they make their carbonara expecting the typical reply that starts with the words "crema de leche". A proper carbonara has no cream, just egg yolk, pepper, cheese, pancetta or guanciale, and al dente pasta. This was a proper Carbonara (with pancetta) and in the past week I've been back for it 3 more times. The pizzas are delicious and authentic too. The service is mostly very good, and there's comfortable seating inside and out. I like this place a lot and will be back soon.

Fui el viernes pasado con mi novio y me gusto mucho la pizza..me llamo la atencion que el sitio estaba lleno de italianos. La única recomendación que tengo es utilizar hongos frescos en vez de los de lata o al menos advertir que utilizan hongos de lata. El tiramisu no me gusto pero volveré por otra pizza.
