Bad choice. Do not spend your time and money there! It’s a trap: the 50% online discount is only a “tricky” move to attract clients. When we got there the food was “strategically” overpriced I believe. We ended up paying an expensive bill for a low quality experience, anonymous location and average service. Don’t fall in the trap! It’s not truly Italian: as real Italian I feel ashamed when promises of quality and tradition are not met. A restaurant’s menu is a promise and a responsibility. This restaurant misses both of them. When they propose themselves as an “Italian” restaurant but then in their menu they propose pasta with chicken they are disrespecting not only the Italian tradition but also their customers. No surprise that everything we tried was lacking authenticity. I would not be surprised if the chef is not Italian. Our meal: Pinot Grigio: normally a cheap wine but they propose it at $39. Still expensive even with 50% off. Meatballs: dry and over cooked. Just 5 miserable little pieces in the dish. They charge it at $13. Almejas/Vongole: tasteless and non fresh. They charge them at an incredible price of $23. Pasta La Strega: acceptable. What is unacceptable is the price they charge. $28 for the basic dish + $9 for the extra shrimps inside. Trust us they put 4 small shrimps! $39 for a dish of pasta! Are you serious?! Pasta Ragu of Chorizo: ok this one was the worst part of the meal. Either they do not know what Ragu is, either they do it on purpose to bring you on the table an insult to Italian kitchen. Do not take this dish. This one too was overpriced...$23 If you want to eat real Italian try other places in Panama. You will be satisfied and spend the right amount of money. Here is not Italy, here you eat lies. Conclusion: we won’t return to this place. We recommend the community of Degusta to invest their time and money in other restaurants.
