Wow! This is the freshest and best pizza I have ever had in Panama. Outstandingly good. Owned and run by an Italian guy from Sicily. Going there and sitting outside I felt like I was sat somewhere in Italy (minus the solid traffic outside). I gave high marks for ambience (unlike others here) because this place is real and honest....no frills....you go and pick up, stand in the street...maybe get talking to others....or you sit outside and just relax....it does not pretend to be anything other than it is. Service is also very good....and fast! We ordered katane/limon (half and half).....for me the limon was the best. I never understand when pizzas are made with canned ingredients (mushrooms my pet hate)....in fact any food...its just lazy....these pizzas have good quality fresh ingredients. Also, when you pick up a big slice, fold the big end and the little end does not flop/droop down you know you're onto a winner (you know what I'm talking about ladies lol). The bread base is chewy and super crispy....all over....they not only know how to make great pizzas well but also how to cook them well too. The menu is BIG.....so many good options and ones I have never seen before. The Limon one came with a slice of lemon to squeeze over it....a first for me on ham and mushroom....and it works really well. The Katane has cured meat (a lot) with greens and parmesan on top....I liked it too but not as much...just my personal choice. We had heard the "arancini" were good and asked for them to try....but unfortunately sold out....I can only imagine how good they are. The owner recommended a drink to us which we had....frozen orange juice (gratinado)....was great. To finish off we tried the panacotta (caramel) and tirumisu.....both awesome....especially the panacotta. Will definitely be going back!
