A little Thai restaurant next to the Vietnamese restaurant on Via Argentina.. they have the same owners. Food is nice but a million miles away from Thai food, it is more like Thai/Chinese with a European input , but it's quite nice .Menu is very limited but we found some things we liked, the ceviche and the soups as there are not really any curries and the pad Thai was not recommended... we will visit again as the food is a little different and the service was good ........Un pequeño restaurante tailandés al lado del restaurante vietnamita en Vía Argentina... tienen los mismos dueños. La comida está rica, pero no se parece en nada a la comida tailandesa; es más bien una fusión tailandesa/china con un toque europeo, pero está bastante buena. El menú es muy limitado, pero encontramos algunas cosas que nos gustaron, como el ceviche y las sopas, ya que no hay muchos currys y el pad thai no nos lo recomendaron... Volveremos porque la comida es un poco diferente y el servicio fue bueno.

A small little coffee shop on Via Argentina, only a few tables inside and outside but it was ok.. Food and coffee were ok and not too much choice ambiance was basic but adequate and service was nice .. Enjoyed the coffees and the empeñadas , but not somewhere we will frequent regularly ...........Una pequeña cafetería en Vía Argentina, con solo unas pocas mesas adentro y afuera, pero estaba bien. La comida y el café estaban bien, aunque no había mucha variedad. El ambiente era básico pero adecuado y el servicio fue agradable. Disfrutamos los cafés y las empanadas, pero no es un lugar al que iremos con frecuencia.

Went last week and the food was ok, nothing special and definitely lacked some of the Indian spices I have come to know and love..Papadom to start was incredibly oily , never seen that before but was ok..., Ambience was ok too and there is a nice seating area where you sit on cushions on the floor. The lady waitress was excellent and friendly .. The downside was when we asked for the bill with jubilados discount. It was like a battle , first a little discount then a little more , and finally after the waitress had gone back and forth a number of times we were given the discount according to the law..it really did ruin what was a fairly pleasant meal , and not something I will go through again with this restaurant .....Fui la semana pasada y la comida estuvo bien, nada especial y definitivamente le faltaban algunas de las especias indias que conozco y me encantan. El papadum de entrada estaba increíblemente aceitoso, nunca había visto algo así, pero estaba bien. El ambiente también estaba bien y hay una zona agradable donde te sientas en cojines en el suelo. La camarera fue excelente y amable. El problema surgió cuando pedimos la cuenta con el descuento de jubilados. Fue como una batalla: primero un pequeño descuento, luego un poco más, y finalmente, después de que la camarera negociara varias veces, nos aplicaron el descuento según la ley. Realmente arruinó lo que era una comida bastante agradable, y no es algo que volveré a experimentar con este restaurante...

Great position on the marina front line , and if you are lucky , you will get a table overlooking the boats. Definitely worth a visit but do make sure you have a table under and umbrella for shade as it can get incredibly hot.. This is not a 5 star hotel restaurant , but more of a local outdoor Panamanian restaurant.. It does get incredibly busy so you may have to wait for a table, but definitely worth the wait.. Love their king prawns,(Langostinos) and their prawns with bacon on a skewer... But don't look to hard at the lack of cleaning, chairs and tables could definetely do with deep clean ( or being changed) But we like the food and keep returning.. Service is sometimes slow, and they don't always see people waiting , so you may have to call someone over, but it's ok and as I said , the position is excellent

Always have a good meal here, Normally go late afternoon, around 4pm as it is quiet and relaxing, Food is good , service is good and the ambience is nice.. Been around 6 times in the past few months and not had a bad meal or bad service , Would definitely recommend

Nos gusta este restaurante porque la comida siempre es buena. Sin embargo, el servicio es algo preocupante. Llegamos y nos sentaron en la trastienda; solo había tres mesas ocupadas. Intentar que el camarero nos atendiera para pedir fue una batalla difícil, ya que todos estaban charlando y hablando por teléfono junto a la caja, y el botón de PEDIR en nuestra mesa se activó, pero nadie vino. Finalmente, después de 20 minutos, logramos pedir. La comida llegó, aunque esta vez tardó mucho (algo inusual), pero estaba buena y quedamos contentos. Pero luego, pedir la cuenta fue como un entrenamiento de gimnasio. El camarero iba a traerla, pero terminó su turno (o eso me dijeron) y se olvidó de comentarlo. Luego nos atendió otro camarero que no sabía qué teníamos, y finalmente, después de haber ido varias veces a la caja, recibimos la cuenta. La comida, la comida y el servicio fueron un desastre para un restaurante tan caro. Una pena, y probablemente no volveremos, ya que hay muchos restaurantes excelentes en Panamá hoy en día..... We do like this restaurant as the food is always good. However the service is something to be worried about. We arrived and were sat in the back room, only 3 tables were occupied in the restaurant. Trying to get the waiter's attention to place our order was a tough battle as they were all chatting and on their phones by the till and the ORDER button on our table activated but no one came. Eventually after 20 minutes we managed to place the order. Food came, it was very slow this time (not normal) but it was good and we were happy. But then trying to get the bill was like a gym workout, The waiter was going to bring it, but his shift ended (so I was told) and he forgot to mention it to anyone. Then we had another waiter who didn't know what we had, and finally after I had been up to the till a number of times, we received our bill. Food food, service a disaster for such an expensive restaurant, A shame and we probably will not go back as there are many great restaurants in Panama today

2 coffees and 2 pieces of dry( but warm )cake nearly $20. Service was ok , could do with smiling or at least saying a welcome to the clients when they enter the coffee shop, The only time the staff spoke was to ask for a tip when they brought the bill. The ambience was ok, nothing special but ok. Most , if not all , places we visit give us the jubillado discount , but here they did not, only if you ordered a full meal, starter, main and sweet. As I said $20 for 2 coffees and 2 pieces of cake , I believe I paid enough, please do not beg for the tip. and be grumpy when I said no.,.......Dos cafés y dos porciones de pastel seco (pero caliente) por casi $20. El servicio estuvo bien; les vendría bien una sonrisa o al menos una bienvenida a los clientes al entrar. El personal solo habló para pedir propina al traer la cuenta. El ambiente estuvo bien, nada especial, pero aceptable. La mayoría de los lugares que visitamos, si no todos, nos hacen el descuento de jubilado, pero aquí no, solo si pedías un menú completo: entrante, plato principal y postre. Como dije, $20 por dos cafés y dos porciones de pastel, creo que pagué suficiente. Por favor, no pidan propina. Y se enfaden cuando les digo que no.

This is a new restaurant here in El Cangrejo, parking outside which is handy but a lot of street parking if required. The tables and chairs inside make it look like a 1970 food house from the US. However it did look as if they had seating outside Food was ok, but expensive for what you get with regards to quality and portion size. The best were the patacones but the rest of the meal was pretty average. Unfortunately too expensive with regard to portion size and quality to return. ........Este es un restaurante nuevo aquí en El Cangrejo. El estacionamiento afuera es práctico, pero hay mucho espacio en la calle si es necesario. Las mesas y sillas adentro lo hacen parecer un restaurante de comida estadounidense de los años 70. Sin embargo, parecía que tenían mesas afuera. La comida estaba bien, pero cara p ara lo que ofrece en cuanto a calidad y tamaño de las porciones. Lo mejor fueron los patacones, pero el resto de la comida fue bastante regular. Desafortunadamente, demasiado caro en cuanto a tamaño y calidad de las porciones para devolver.

We had high expectations of this restaurant but unfortunately never again , The mixed fish in the starter was bad and had a bad smell. We did not notice till after we had all served ourselves and tried the food which had a strange taste, so we just left what we had not eaten, the prawn ceviche was good but the liquid sauce had been mixed with water so was weak and pretty tasteless..The main course of the rice with fish was so sparsely populated with fish it defied logic and the pulpo I could have used to repair my shoes.... Unfortunately we will not visit again ... Expensive and very poor food.........Teníamos muchas expectativas en este restaurante, pero lamentablemente nunca más. El pescado mixto del entrante estaba malo y olía fatal. No nos dimos cuenta hasta después de servirnos todos y probar la comida, que tenía un sabor extraño, así que dejamos lo que no habíamos comido. El ceviche de gambas estaba bueno, pero la salsa líquida estaba mezclada con agua, así que estaba floja y bastante insípida. El plato principal, el arroz con pescado, estaba tan poco pescado que desafiaba la lógica, y el pulpo podría haberme servido para remendar los zapatos... Lamentablemente, no volveremos... la comida es cara y muy mala.

Passed by this coffee shop many times and today took a look inside, nice little coffee place and empenadas , they also do sandwiches and probably more. I just had a coffee and empenada which was good and not too expensive, $3.5 for the coffee and $2 for the empenada., they also have sweet cakes , again good price and they looked delicious but not a great deal of choice. Service was slow , especially as I was there were only two tables occupied , including mine but the Staff were nice. Will definitely go back and try other things. He pasado por esta cafetería muchas veces y hoy la visité. Es una cafetería pequeña y agradable con empanadas. También sirven sándwiches y probablemente más. Acabo de tomar un café con empanadas, que estaban buenas y no eran caras: $3.5 el café y $2 la empanada. También tienen pasteles dulces, también a buen precio, y se veían deliciosos, pero no había mucha variedad. El servicio fue lento, sobre todo porque solo había dos mesas ocupadas, incluida la mía, pero el personal fue amable. Sin duda volveré y probaré otras cosas.
