Hikaru (Marbella)

Pequeño lugar con un ambiente familiar algo japonés por el tamaño del rest. Ramen con buen sabor pero le faltó ingredientes. Tempuras de vegetales y camarones excelentes al igual que un sashimi de atún molido. El picante tiene una apariencia de que pica un montón pero el realidad lo que da es un muy bien toque sin ser picante. Buena cena ligera para comer entre amigos o en un date.

Es una joya escondida en Marbella. La comida espectacular y la atención esmerada. Vale la pena escuchar las recomendaciones de los meseros ya que conocen el menu y saben orientar al cliente.

Un pedacito de Tokio en Panama. El mejor Ramen de Panama sin duda. Sashimi muy fresco, muy buen Yakisoba y las Gyosas!

This was my third time visiting Hikaru, and I've left reviews in Spanish before - thought I'd write this one in English for any travelers visiting (or local expats and such). Let me just say this restaurant is one of my happy places to done out in Panama, probably my favorite. People are always kind and courteous, sharing with us "hidden plates" that are not on the menu and writing down plates that we want to try out next time. Whenever we leave, two or three people thank you for visiting. We ask a bunch of questions and everyone's really helpful: ingredients, recipes, pronunciation, etc. Then let's talk about the ambiance, this is a tiny restaurant (please, always try to reserve and be there on time), but last time we visited, they accommodated us in the bar (which is delightful as well). Lovely decor, clean and home-y. The food is just spectacular, and prices are so reasonable it makes you question other restaurants. This time we had an octopus dish (not on menu), pickled veggies, onigiri, salmon sushi and mochi (green tea and sesame). I could have mochi forever, so yummy! And we tried their spicy sauce, which was more smoked than spicy - delicious! Everything. Deliciousness!! Excellent restaurant.
