Buco Pollo (San Francisco)

Buco Pollo has a new spicy chili sauce that is great. Thy now offer the whole chicken at $13.00 is a better cost. It does not come with any side dishes. The chicken is very good.

After only being open for 48 days, Buco Pollo raised their prices by over 17%! The whole chicken, which is by no means large, with three sides, is now $19.78. Their chicken is very good, but its now unjustifiably costly for the amount of food. The sides of the salad, black beans and yuca are all great as well. In addition, there is too many other lesa costly alternatives available. Especially when there are Degusta discounts available.

This place opened less that 10 days ago. The concept of first cooking the chicken on a rotisserie then finishing off on the fired grill is a great one. There is no menu, just the choice of ½ chicken with your choice of sides, or whole chicken with your choice of 3 sides. The whole chicken is small, but the meat is tender, juicy and with great flavor. The side choices are yellow rice, black beans, salad, and yuca al moho. I liked the black beans and the salad. The yuca was not as I expected but was very good. The order comes with two dipping sauces: garlic and a green, maybe parsley, sauce. The place is small, and the fire is exposed so if you choose to eat there, it gets quite smoky, you will come out smelling like you were in forest fire.

Que pollo mas bueno, y me encantó que cada guarnición estaba a la mano con el pollo. El servicio muy bueno también.

Es uno de los mejores cuando se trata de comer pollo. Muy buen restaurante por su ambiente, esmerada atención y sus deliciosos pollos a la brasa con su variedad de acompañantes.
