Asu Mare is not a restaurant to take a date on. Its very casual, almost clinical. But the food is good. I ordered the appetizer of the Ceviche al mercado and it was good. I wish it was a bigger portion for the money. The main course I had, pescado al carbon was also good, The server complied with my request for only veggies which were very good. I liked what I ate, but nothing impressed me enough to have a desire to go back. Be aware, there is no parking dedicated for the restaurant and it is not that easy to find a spot on the street close by.
