The parrillada mixta is just the perfect size to share between two people, and will leave you feeling satisfied. Service is quick, and prices are reasonable for what you get. Patacones are awesome!
Panamonte
We stopped for breakfast since we noticed a lot of places close on Wednesday, and we're glad we did. The swedish pancakes were very nice, and the syrup and melted butter gave it a nice touch. We sat on the terrace which gave us a beautiful view of the mountains. The cappuccino was great as well, the milk didnt overpower the taste of coffee. I would love to come back and have dinner sometime.
Il Pianista
This is a great spot for some authentic italian food. The restaurant is rustic and has a romantic feel to it with the small waterfall out in the back, just lovely. I recommend the Pescatore Pasta with a white wine. The Focaccia with prosciutto is also well done in the stone stove they use to cook. A must try in Boquete.
Colibri
Another lovely place in Boqueteif you're looking to have a fresh, natural meal. A lot of the options they offer are vegan and gluten free. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables. I had the beef tenderloin in a mustard sauce that was very delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
Mike`s
A fun spot in Boquete if you want to hang out, have a beer, and watch a good game. Their pizzas are delicious, and Grandmas Chicken Soup is very comforting when its chilly out.
Sugar & Spice
A great breakfast spot in Boquete, quick service and great american style breakfasts. If the breakfast special is up, there are two, I would definitely recommend those. Their muffins are also out of this world.
The Rock
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Boquete! The food is so fresh and wonderful that every bite just makes you smile, seriously! I had the Pulpo with Coconut Rice, and you could really taste the coconut with shredded coconut bits, and the taste of the cooked pulpo was very good. I also recommend the Rockin' Shrimp and the duo Creme Brulee. Definitely a must if you're in Boquete!
O`Pedros
We tried the Gaital Burger and the Club Sandwich, and they both did not fail at all. The food served here is ten times better than the food they serve at the other, more expensive restaurant at the hotel. What I also like about this place is the look and feel of the pub, and also the wide variety of beers they offer and are readily available. There's a pool table and also two tv's to watch sports.
La Tasca de Triana
The food is not worth the price you pay in this place, AT ALL. I ordered a filet that ended up being served in several pieces, and even though I had ordered it medium well, the meat was hard and difficult to chew. At least the steamed vegetables were fresh and steamed nicely. The almejas we ordered were decent, but it doesn't make up for the disappointing experience. We also ordered Corvina in some unknown sauce, with boxed mashed potatoes, that arrived cold. I would not recommend to spend your money here, unless they drop their prices significantly.
Da Vinci
We were looking for a place to have lunch, and the reviews of this restaurant on Degusta were pretty good, so we decided to check it out. The highlight of this restaurant is their home made, artisan pasta. We ordered a salmon bruschetta as an appetizer which I recommend, very tasty and good enough for two people. We also ordered the Risotto Nero and the Fettucini de Mariscos. The rissotto was perfect, the only problem is that it takes a while to make, but the wait was worth it. Unfortunately I was brought the wrong dish, instead I was given Fettucini with chicken and mushrooms. The pasta was perfect, al dente and the sauce was delicious. The chicken was too dry, and I was just plain disappointed that I didn't receive what I ordered. I left it like that, since we already waited more than 45 minutes for our meal, didn't mention it either since we were charged for the chicken fettuccini. But to be honest, I would definitley be back to try other dishes, because their food is THAT good. Their Sangria is overpriced and did not taste that good, also had fruits that seemed like were soaked for days instead of using fresh fruit.
