What a pleasant surprise the new Sante is! My family and I had such a wonderful experience there last night. The food (excellent), the service (outstanding), the ambiance (clean and relaxing). We eat early (7pm) and the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. The charming waitress was helpful and attentive. The appetizers were large ( the seafood platter and the pumpkin soup) and were outstanding choices. My wife had the shrimp and I had one of the burgers. I am always a little afraid to try the burgers in Panama as the meat is variable. In addition to being oversized ( I could only eat half at one sitting) it was perfectly prepared! The ambiance is acceptable for this restaurant. It is comfortable, a little loud, and a little too bright for my taste, but the excellent service and the excellent food far outweigh any deficiencies. We have listed this as one of our "go to" places, so we will be back a lot. The new Sante is so much better than the old Sante!! (and Karaoke next door what more do you need?)
