PAUL (Multiplaza)

De vuelta por el Mall Multiplaza dio la hora del almuerzo y decidimos mi esposa y yo, almorzar en el Restaurante Paul. La impresión es que este restaurante francés esta hecho para el gusto del comensal gringo a juzgar por la decoración, etc. Mi esposa ordenó huevos pochados con trozos de langostas y aguacate y pan brioche cubierto con salsa holandesa. A mi esposa no le gustó tanto su plato. Yo en cambio ordené una burrata fresca, tomates, aceitunas kalamate, tomace seco, curriy, pesto y aceite balsámico. Me gustó mi plato. Ambos platos con buena textura y buena presentación.. La relación precio-calidad es un poco elevada. Considerando que el restaurante esta medio lleno tardaron un poco en servir. Los meseros estuvieran muy atentos. Ella ordenó como postre un Eclair vanille (un choux tradicional con crema pastelera de vainilla). Al probarlo, notamos que la masa estava algo duro, algo pasada. Yo ordené un mil hojas tradicional lo cual encontré muy bueno. Coronamos, ella con un té y yo con un café. Pedí un expreso "largo" pero se quedó algo corto para mi gusto (demasiado fuerte). Excepto estos pequeños inconvenientes, el servicio estuvo bueno. Tuvimos una buena experiencia gastronómica. Lo recomiendo.

La comida es riquísima, no da ganas de irse del restaurante y seguir comiendo. Recomiendo la ensalada Caprese y la sopa de cebolla. Favor ir con varios amigos y probar los otros platos, todo está riquísimo.

Taking advantage of an OfertaSimple, we decided to make our first visit to this restaurant on a Sunday after church service. Paul is easy to find - on the ground floor across from Saquella by the Las Terrazas side of the mall. We arrived at about 12:15pm, the restaurant was about 60% full which enabled us to be greeted and seated very quickly. One immediate call out at this point are the seating and tables - very small tables, which meant for 3 persons we needed to bring two together and the seats are not the most comfortable (the design narrows at your butt, which makes for a bit of a squeeze unless you have a small frame). I'm 6' 5" @ 250lbs - not a small person by any stretch. That aside, service was prompt and pleasant. After placing our order, it appeared that we were not going to get the complementary bread basket unless we asked for it, even though all other diners we observed coming after us received theirs in short order. Once we asked about it, they responded quickly. As it relates to the food - I ordered the standard breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon & toast which also included a tomato wedge, lettuce and potato hash brown. I enjoyed it as all the ingredients were clearly fresh and well prepared. My wife ordered the salmon wrap, which comes with a mesculin salad. She thought it was good, not great. Our son had his usual chicken fingers and fries - bigger portion than expected which he ate a little more than half of. Overall, the food is good, the ambiance is more of an outdoor Parisian cafe vs. a restaurant. The uncomfortable seating setup did not help matters as my wife did not enjoy the experience as much - she was dying to leave because of that. With a great location and friendly staff, Paul definitely has potential but it is not necessarily the best for everyone. Personally, I had a good overall experience, however, my wife will not be returning.

Cafetería y repostería Francesa. La comida en general es muy buena, de entrada recomendamos la sopa de lentejas, de plato fuerte La hamburguesa y los crepés y de postre las danesas y orejas. En general la comida es toda de excelente sabor. La atención es buena, el ambiente es relajado. Recomendado.

Todo bien en comidas. Atención muy solícita y cordial. La única crítica es la bodega, escasa selección en materia de vinos.
