Finally had a chance to check out Niko Cafe in front of the Multi Plaza Mall after 10 months of passing by it almost everyday. We went there on a Sunday morning before 10 am and the place was almost full. I guess this is really a popular spot with the locals. Our Spanish is terrible so we kinda looked around first to see how people got their food. So for those like us who want to experience this restaurant for the first time, here is how it goes.
If you just want to have bread or pastries with your coffee, there is a separate kiosk which is located near the entrance. The breads are priced by weight (mostly 6 USD per kg) but of course you can buy by the piece. On the other side, of the main entrance is the start of the cafeteria style service. The first is a sandwich station followed by coffee and then the regular menu. When we were there, they had the breakfast items on display so you can choose your scrambled eggs, french toast or sausages. Just point to what you like and they will put it on a plate. Then comes the beverages and dessert section before you reach the cashier to pay for your food. The main dining hall is fairly big and they have a play area for kids.
