Brand-new, fun interior, tipico Pamanamian food. We weren't certain we'd like the cuisine but all 3 of us were pleased with our selections. My ropa vieja was excellent--tasty without being tough or chewy--and it was served with plantains and arroz con guandu (one of my favorites). Located right behind Teatro Nacional and next to the Tourist Police office, it's impossible to miss, especially since there's a life-sized red devil out front. The owner, who speaks a tiny bit of English, told us that there will be tipico dancing at 9 pm on Fri & Sat nights. This place would be a great alternative to the usual tipico dance spots, since you can order dinner off the menu and the food is very good. Our only complaint--not a single vegetable or salad.
