I cannot believe it took me so long to try this place. Everything was great, the ambiance on the terrace was beautiful and relaxed with an upscale vibe. The cocktails were interesting and delicious, the food spot on, and the desserts huge.
I will definitely be back and highly recommend Makoto.
Lucca remains my staple 'go to' place for great, fresh food, and great consistent service! Brought two friends visiting from the US - they loved everything!
This is my second time here, and the first time I ate on the rooftop. The temperature was comfortable and the view is amazing. The only thing worth considering is they allow smoking at the tables. It was really disappointing to be enjoying a $40 steak when suddenly two nearby tables are blowing smoke right into my space. The experience downstairs is one of fine dining with comfortable chairs and linens. Upstairs, you'll find high-top tables, uncomfortable stools, and loud music (although the DJ was great). It's just a completely different vibe. Next time, I'm going to enjoy the ambience downstairs, then move to the rooftop for cocktails (or vice versa).
This was another great meal with the family. something for everyone. Great sushi and this time we tried the risotto with langostinos, which didn’t disappoint. Attentive service!
Wow, for a long time, I have been hearing people talk about how great Filomena is, and I finally got to experience it for myself. It did not disappoint. The bistecca was cooked perfectly and amazingly tender. We had a table by the window with a beautiful view. The service was attentive and not rushed. I look forward to returning soon!
Wow! I love this place! It has a great cozy speak easy atmosphere, in a perfect location in Casco Viejo.
We enjoyed some hand crafted cocktails and the salmon nigiri is some of the best I’ve ever had, I ordered more for desert.
The spicy edamame, the sushi rolls, and the noodle dish were all great! Our server Nicole was fantastic, it was refreshing to have such great service.
I am already planning my return. This is my new favorite spot in Panamá!
I love the idea of this place, but it left me a little disappointed. It’s surprisingly expensive for very small share plates. Don’t get me wrong, the food and service were good, but for the value it didn’t seem worth it. The rooftop lacks a breathtaking view, but I would return for one of their creative cocktails. I’d like to try some of their other concepts.
I have heard great things about Masi for a long time—and especially their brunch. Today I finally got to experience it firsthand. it was everything I have heard. Countless stations ranging from sushi to omelets to French toast and brisket. The service was top notch, and our mimosas never were empty. There was live music on the terrace. This is my new go to brunch spot.
I took my family and some guests visiting from the US and we were all impressed by the quality of the service. Perhaps the best I have had in Panamá to date. The setting was amazing, on the water with views of Costa del Este. The food was good, the kids seemed to enjoy the pizza and I had the tortellini, which didn’t disappoint. For dessert we shared the molton lava cake and panna cotta. I will be back and highly recommend!
The food was good, service was good, but on this morning there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant. I felt bad for them, they were running like crazy and really wanted to provide great service. I’ll return when I’m in the area.
