Elegant, white tablecloth dining experience! Never fails to provide very tasty food - bar is inconsistent in size & quality of drinks. Service is well intentioned but spotty. Menus are offered in English, which is a plus. We return over and over!

We were VERY disappointed with the server & service. Based on a prior visit we brought friends for what we thought would be a great time. Server was totally lacking in interest. When a second round of drinks failed to appear - or rather 2 of the 4 - I finally got up and found her blabbing to someone at the front door - after more than 20 minutes! She communicated that they had run out of Jack Daniels and we would have to wait! Then she FINALLY took our order, and delivered very poorly made cocktails (again!) and disappeared until we got her attention for the check. Then she was trying to demand that we pay the tip in cash - this after we helped our friend calculate a very generous tip based on the full price, not counting down from the 30% discount card we had from our last visit. She was stubbornly trying to get cash out of the Americans! She did not and then, with this very generous tip, did not even say thank you to us. Her service completely changed our impression of this restaurant. The fried (medium) snapper, fried (medium) Corvina, seafood risotto and my tuna/salmon carpaccio were very tasty. Drinks are inconsistent in creation & size and garnish and short pours.

Thanks Jose for, as usual, Excellent Service! The Old Fashioned and the Martini were both prepared perfectly and presented promptly- the little bread and spread is always a delightful accompaniment to the pre-dinner cocktails. Smooth Jazz on the piano was so pleasant in the background, too! The Brandy Chicken and the Chicken under the Mountain (fantastic light salad complete with delicate seasonings on top of a paper thin and perfectly prepared breaded chicken cutlet) were both plentiful, visually appealing and delish! For dessert (which we never order!) we decided to share a Giardino di Cioccolato - out this world tasty with hot chocolate poured on top. I had a lovely Malbec, too - Restaurant is stunning, tableware and cutlery are top notch, all staff are attentive - just a great experience - thanks (AGAIN!) Jose!

Worth the ride to Costa del Este! Alexander and all the staff were exceptional. The food was delicious - The Best Italian we have had in years of dining in Panama! The kitchen absolutely excellent!!! Beautiful atmosphere. Bar needs an education in how to make martini's and Old Fashion's - very short pour and way, way too much vermouth in a clearly ordered Muy Secco gin martini! Wine list is full and the glass of red was wonderful. Don't get us started on dessert! We never order and we were SO FULL but we just had to have the tiramisu and it was heaven on a plate - one portion was almost too much for two! Keep this a secret or we won't be able to get in next time!!! Thanks Alexander and The Chef (end entire kitchen!)

Martini and Old Fashion were poorly made and skimpy. Second Old Fashion was perfect. Waiter unpleasant and disagreeable. Corvina was very tough and sauce was meh. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and amazing! Sauteed veggies were skimpy and tasteless, French fries were cold. We were very, very disappointed at $62.86 (with our pensionado discount) - Music was very pleasant, as always - remember to tip the performer!

Restaurant is beautiful in the main dining room and bar. Staff very pleasant but inefficient. Old Fashion ordered immediately upon sitting down was not delivered until requested a second time. Then it was short and warm - we had to request more ice. Very, very specific medium rare and rare steaks ordered were served well and medium well and, (we never do this but at these prices we were not just going to eat what we did not want!), had to be returned and replaced. We had to indicate that the beautiful baked potato needed to be replaced and served hot. Second attempt, delivered without any apology, resulted in two perfectly cooked and very tasty steaks. Glass of pinot noir was served promptly. Check took forever - and our pensionado discounts were figured incorrectly so we were overcharged about $9.00 & tipped on the higher amount- we will have to discuss this in person when we are in the area again Wednesday or I will have to make a complaint to AMEX. So much potential here for a great experience was really diminished piece by piece. Very disappointed and we are not likely to ever return.

Thank you Eduardo and the rest of the staff and the kitchen staff for a wonderful meal! terrific Old Fashioned, Italian sparkling water, Balboa ice cold! The fried seafood platter to share WAS SO HUGE! and delish! I had some leftover shrimp for breakfast, and we will enjoy the rest tonight with salad - it was SO SO GOOD!

Lovely restaurant atmosphere - good, solid bartender making the drinks the way you expect them. Decent wine list. Food is EXCELLENT! We have been here many times and are never disappointed!

Excellent service by Jonathan (sp?) and the rest of the staff. Bartender needs training, my Old Fashioned was not well made. Martini was excellent. Appetizer was beautiful and very tasty. Both dinners were delightful. Afternoon was spoiled when we were outside waiting for the Uber. For some reason yard man was soaking the grass and created a river by the street - a car drove into it and ruined my shoes and slacks and soaked my husband. The worker actually laughed. Neither of us found that funny at all.

Always a great experience! Bar is awesome, staff friendly and usually attentive, food - WOW! This system is requiring me to write more than I want to write -
