With so many choice a good eating establishments in Panama it is not easy to find one that you would want to frequent on a very regular basis. There are just too many good restaurants. Il Grillo is one of these restaurants. The menu and decor has changed since my last visit. I was not disappointed at all. I cannot understand the bad reviews that i have read. The parking situation is quite easy; Valet. The menu is smaller that before. I ordered the Farfale as my appetizer and it was brought out perfectly al dente and the sauce was excellent. My main course of the filete was also done with great precision. The meat came out medium rare on a bed of wilted greens and some roasted baby potatoes. I never expect the meat to be burning hot since I know the steak must rest, off of the heat, for a good 5-10 minutes. The other dishes order were the Risotto, and Carpaccio de Res. Both of these I tasted and liked a lot. I do look forward to going back to Il Grillo.
