We arrived at this place by the recommendation of some friends. They told us that the food was spectacular and that the service is much better than what one usually finds. As soon as they arrived, they welcomed us with great kindness. The restaurant is small but very cozy. Music and warm lights help create an intimate atmosphere. We were very intrigued by the name of the place so the owner's niece told us the story of the lady who inspired it. They have a wine list not very extensive but very consistent. We prefer the house wine, a truly exquisite Italian red wine. For starters we shared a beef carpaccio that had parmesan cheese and truffle oil. Very good. Then my girlfriend ordered a vegetable paste and it was spectacular. I decided on some gnocchi in cheese sauce that were from another world. For dessert we shared a hot chocolate brownie with milk. We are very happy to have listened to the recommendations of our friends. We will also recommend it upon our return.
