For some time, I've driven by this restaurant and was curious to check it out. This past Sunday, decided to take the family there for a late breakfast and it was a really good experience. There was ample parking, since it was a Sunday and the rest of the stores in the strip mall were closed. They have a security guard on post, which certainly helps with feeling that my vehicle will be secure. We quickly got seated in the rainforest themed restaurant - liked the green decorations, high ceilings and overall chill vibe of the place. The servers were very pleasant and appeared happy to serve. The place was very clean and inviting overall. On the food front - I had the Big Chef Platter - 2 pancakes, 2 hojaldres, 2 eggs, 2 Sausages or 4 bacon with syrup, local cheese and pico de gallo. This was an excellent meal as everything was fresh made with quality ingredients. Washed it down with fresh made mango juice. The wife had 2 sausage platter, with 2 hojaldres, local cheese and 2 eggs paired with fresh Melon juice and the 8yr old had the Pancake sencillo, with a side of eggs, bacon. Like my dish, everything was delicious, freshly made with great flavor. Really liked how they do the hojaldres - a little thicker and fluffer than at many other places. Didn't have coffee as I had a double cup at home, but will be looking to try theirs the next time we visit, which will be in the near future for sure. Highly recommend this as a quaint, hidden gem in the dense restaurant haven that is San Francisco.
