Para los amantes de la comida Japonesa y la comida ligth, es una excelente opción, el ambiente es tranquilo y el lugar muy original, los meseros son muy activos y hay varias opciones para escoger en el menu.

Me pareció excesivamente caro para la calidad de la comida! La comida estaba buena, pero no fue un espectáculo!

Fuimos a cenar para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo , inicialmente reservamos en el lounge para 11 personas , le pregunte a la chica al hacer la reserva que si comer en el lounge y me contesto que si . Llegamos y pedimos algunos rollos y platos para picar , pero solicitamos una mesa ya que tambien queriamos comer plato fuerte y aunque ellos digan que si es imposible e incomodo hacerlo ahi, no hubo problema en que nos movieran a una mesa aproximadamente en 30 min .., al pedir la comida tardo un poco pero al servirnos lo hicieron todo a la vez , lo que nos parecio perfecto .
De entradas pedimos Volcano , Shogun , Shrimp rolls y ceviches de corvinas , todo estba excelente ...mi favorito fue el Shogun ...me encantoo. Mi esposo pidio pollo teriyaki y le encanto , en fin todos quedaron conformes con sus platos ...de postre el chessecake estaba Espectacular! a todos nos gusto mucho.

Las porciones estan excelentes y todos quedamos de acuerdo en regresar mas a menudo.

Como nota curiosa , deje olvidada mi camara en la mesa y aunque ya estabamos regresando a recojerla , recibi una llamada del restaurante para avisarnos que la habiamos olvidado....WAO , fue la cereza en el cake, esta en mi top 5 de ahora en adelante.

El ambiente me encanta, es super moderno e invita a tomarse unos traguitos.El servicio fue de lo mas bueno. En cuanto a la comida y mas importante, tuve mala suerte, y lo tengo que decir porque no habia nadie que me hablara mal de la comida aqui, pero de verdad me desilucione, los mariscos que pedimos estaban demasiado mariscosos y una textura medio babosa, varios de los platos de mis compañeros vinieron frios, tuvimos que devolver otro plato porque se veia crudo, creo que todo lo malo nos paso a nosotros, me gustaria regresar para mejorar esa experiencia pero tomara tiempo.

I've always liked Sake; the downstairs bar area is lovely and I celebrated a birthday there with great success. Last Friday I returned for a nice boozy lunch to kickoff the weekend. The menu has good options for both vegetarians & non-vegetarians, which is wonderful. I like the veggie tempura, the misoshiru (generous) & the seaweed salad. The rolls are usually tasty but not made with proper sushi rice (& often the rice isn't sticky enough or the rolls are loose when they should be rolled quite tight...this affects the sushi experience). I would also recommend they be careful not to overcook the edamame.

This past visit we had a lovely wine (sorry, can't remember the name, will start making a note of these things). I sampled the wasabi mashed potatoes (yummy, though not much wasabi flavor), the veggie tempura sushi (nothing special) & the veggie yakimeshi (simple, yummy). The waiter brought the seafood yakimeshi by mistake, though I'd been very specific (no seafood please), but he apologized & changed it quickly. My friend got sesame tuna sashimi "sliced thinly" & this was done as she asked. Later the waiter kind of disappeared on us, which was a bit frustrating. I ordered a Perrier & he filled my glass & took away the bottle with the remaining water (a big no-no). He also "lost" my credit card (he found it soon after, though) & charged the wrong amount to my friend's. At this point, we weren't trying to be difficult, but did want things straightened out. He didn't know what to do so we instructed him (it takes a second to cancel the old charge and put in the new charge correctly) & he made it seem like we were inconveniencing him (especially when we asked for the cancellation slip). Wrong attitude, we thought.

Overall: Service usually ok, but waiters tend to "disappear" after food is served (missed opportunities--most of us eat & drink more with an attentive waiter). Food is usually good. Sake (drink) prices now too high. Convenient location near mall.

Our visit to Sake was interesting. I have now been twice. The first time, the food was great and the service was bad. However, the second time they had improved the service.
The decor is clean and I like how the restaurant looks simple but yet sophisticated.
We ordered the veggie roll. the salad and other dishes and they were all good. The only thing is that the edamame had been too salty. The waiter we had the secon visit was awesome and he made sure to be attentive. I would recommend it to anyone it is really good.

It had been a long time since my wife and I have been to Sake. Like most restaurants in Panama, Sake's honeymoon period is well over, and it is in the time period that can make or break a restaurant in this city. Many restaurants after the honeymoon period raise prices, reduce portion sizes, reduce staff, etc...all gradually work together in closing their doors for good.

I must say...Sake is still doing ok! Service was good and attentive! Food was exceptional (may still be best Sushi/Japanese fusion) fare in Panama! Portion sizes were good in relation to price! Only bad sign was LOTS of empty tables on a typically busy (Thursday at 8:30pm) restaurant time! I hope this isn't a sign...

We took Sake off our "regular" list before due to new favorites...but Sake has found their way back onto our list! Great Job!

El restaurante siempre me ha parecido que tiene una decoración increíble y es un sitio al cual a uno le gusta ir. Sea en la terraza, dentro del local o en el lounge que tienen, uno la pasa excelente. El servicio estuvo un poco lento al principio, pedí un manhattan (el cual es un martini) y me lo dieron en vaso de trago normal y no sabía a manhattan. Tan pronto llegó la comida las cosas fueron mejorando, los langostinos tempura, el loco roll y el volcano roll me encantan. Probé dos rolls de atún que me parecieron normal pero el postre de manzanas tempura y helado de vainilla en canasta de caramelo estaba muy rico.

Aunque hubo ciertas equivocaciones, pasé una velada muy agradable. El ambiente se presta para pasarla chévere y siempre es buen sitio para tomarse unos tragos en su happy hour como para cenar unos rolls más modernos (no es parecido a los restaurantes 100% japoneses). Espero que lo visiten porque vale la pena conocerlo y probar la variedad de platos.
