Great place for a Sunday grazing, just make sure you have a good appetite.
I had the chilli cheese fries to start and we shared the pulled porks and ribs to follow. The chilli had a good flavour but i would have preferred some home made fries with it.
The ribs were excellent, beautifully tender and full of flavour, sadly let down by unseasoned garlic "smashed" potatoes. The pulled pork was very good as well but certainly not in the same league as the ribs. The smoked beans on the side were a little sweet but broke up pigfest nicely.
Service was slow but i wasn't in a rush, the beers were cold and I have absolutely no issues with the decor unlike some of the other people on this site, probably because I sat outside.
Overall I will definitely be back.
Diabolical!
I ordered spaghetti carbonara whilst my wiser half chose a pepperoni pizza.
The spaghetti was horrendously overcooked and the sauce was cream with cream finished with few lumps of nondescript ham. In a futile attempt to add some flavour into the dish I asked the waitress for some black pepper; I received sawdust and was told they didn't have a pepper mill or any black pepper - this explains a lot.
The pizza was marginally better but clearly salt hadn't been bought either as the base lacked any seasoning.
As someone involved in the restaurant industry I understand how much a bad review can piss you off but these people need a wake up call.
The only plus I can draw from the experience is that the owners son washes cars next door and does a good job at it.
